In this role, you will work closely with our geologists, mining engineers, and safety officers to design and execute blasting plans that maximize productivity while minimizing environmental impact.

As a Blasting Engineer at PT Mineral Resources Indonesia, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including conducting blast design calculations, analyzing rock properties, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations. You will use industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Surpac, and BlastX to create detailed blasting plans and monitor the performance of each blast.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Conduct blast design calculations and create detailed blasting plans using AutoCAD, Surpac, and BlastX.
• Analyze rock properties and determine the appropriate blasting parameters for each project.
• Monitor blast performance and make adjustments as needed to optimize productivity and minimize environmental impact.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Work closely with geologists, mining engineers, and safety officers to develop and implement blasting strategies.
• Provide technical support and training to junior staff and contractors.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in blasting engineering.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in blasting engineering, with a strong background in rock mechanics and blast design.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Surpac, and BlastX.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
